Derek J. Murphy is a man of many dimensions. Before all else, he is a family man. He is married to his BEAUTIFUL high school sweetheart, with whom he shares three extraordinary children and an adorable dog. Together they are the legendary #TeamMurphy.
He is the lead pastor of Rose Hill Church of God in Christ. Though Growing up as a Preacher’s Kid, he tried to escape his calling, but he has now grown to love and enjoy what he does. “There are few greater feelings than teaching God’s Word to people who need to be built up”.
Derek also has an extensive list of talents and interests: writing, music, history, pop culture, Fashion, and Graphic Design. He makes it his goal to use these gifts to glorify God and edify people.
He strives to use his gifts to encourage and mold others around him. While God influences Derek every day, Derek is #buildingppl.
